Do You Have Ears to Hear?

Luke 8:11- (King James Version)

  • 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
  • 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
  • 13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
  • 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
  • 15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

8:11- (Chinese Union Version (Traditional))

John 13:34-35 (King James Version)

  • 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
  • 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

13:34-35 (Chinese Union Version (Simplified))

1 Peter 4:12-13 (King James Version)

  • 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
  • 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

4:12-13 (Chinese Union Version (Simplified))

2 Timothy 3:14-17 (King James Version)

  • 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
  • 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
  • 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
  • 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

3:14-17 (Chinese Union Version (Simplified))

Mark 11:15- (New King James Version)

  • 15 So they came to Jerusalem. Then Jesus went into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.
  • 16 And He would not allow anyone to carry wares through the temple.
  • 17 Then He taught, saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’”
  • 18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it and sought how they might destroy Him; for they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.

11:15- (Chinese Union Version (Traditional))

  • 15 他們來到耶路撒冷。 耶穌進入聖殿, 趕出殿裡作買賣的人, 推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子, 和賣鴿子之人的凳子;
  • 16 也不許人拿著器具從殿裡經過;

Psalm 119:137- (New King James Version)

  • 137 Righteous are You, O LORD, And upright are Your judgments.
  • 138 Your testimonies, which You have commanded, Are righteous and very faithful.
  • 139 My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words.

119:137- (Chinese Union Version (Traditional))
